Business Development- Outside Sales Executive (Eugene, OR )

Transmark Logistics, a leading Pacific Northwest Freight Forwarding/Cartage company has an immediate opening for a Business Development- Outside Sales Executive to develop our Southern Oregon Territory. Preferred candidate base in Eugene area.

  • Starting pay is $32K per year plus commission

  • Additional incentives for profitable territory growth

  • Phone, Car and Fuel allowance provided

  • Monday- Friday position

  • Start time 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

What you'll be doing:

  • Researching organizations and individuals online (especially on social media) to identify new leads and potential new markets

  • Contacting potential clients via email or phone to establish rapport and set up meetings

  • Building business relationships with current and potential clients

  • Understanding client needs and offering solutions and support; answering potential client questions and follow-up; Developing quotes and proposals

  • Collaborating with management on sales goals, planning, and forecasting; maintaining short- and long-term business development plans

  • Creating informative presentations; presenting and delivering information to potential clients at client meetings, industry exhibits, trade shows, and conferences

  • Weekly travel to Eugene, Bend, Roseburg, and Medford area's.

  • Bi weekly travel to the Portland office for sales meetings.

Requirements:

  • Must have a reliable vehicle

  • Excellent interpersonal, telephone, presentation, oral and written communication skills.

  • Possesses an energetic, outgoing, and friendly demeanor

  • Ability to influence decision makers at all levels of an organization, from CEO to a front office professional.

  • Successful closing skills

  • 2-4 years of experience in Outside Sales

  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel) and CRM/Salesforce experience preferred
